Connecting to a Database in the Standalone Edition

This tutorial provides guidance in how to set up a database for running a Fields of Code system in single computer mode. This is the case if you have purchased the Standalone Edition: one machine, multiple user profiles can log on to the same system, but there is no interaction with other computers. The database is first created in MS SQL Server, and a connection is defined in the Fields of Code via a configuration in the Database page on the Settings view. This is typically the first step to carry out immediately after installing your license.
